Remark

This document is a user manual exclusively developed for TOY(FD) and, as a conse-

quence, does not treat directly about TOY, although it provides an (intuitive) introduc-

tion to TOY. In general, we assume the reader is familiarized with the TOYlanguage.

If this is not the case, the reader is encouraged to read Caballero et al., 1997; L´opez-

Fraguas and S´anchez-Hern´andez, 1999.

Also, this document does not deal with the underlying theoretical framework of

TOY(FD) that will be described further in a TOY(FD) reference manual (currently

in preparation). The interested reader in this issue (e.g., type discipline, operational

semantics, denotational semantics) is referred to Fern´andez et al., 2003a; Fern´andez

et al., 2002a; Fern´andez et al., 2003b.
